When Grand Ocean was first delivered by Blohm & Voss in 1990, then known as Golden Odyssey II, she was never intended to be an ordinary private yacht. Built to a specification that went far beyond the conventions of the time, the 80-metre superyacht was conceived for a royal principal, with privacy, security and scale embedded into her DNA from the outset. More than three decades later, that legacy is being preserved and redefined as Grand Ocean nears completion following a comprehensive €25 million rebuild and prepares for relaunch in 2026.
