Golden Yachts has partnered with Phathom Studio to introduce a groundbreaking 65-meter concept yacht named Vesper. This collaboration aims to cater to a new generation of yacht owners who prefer a more relaxed and family-oriented approach to yachting. The design of Vesper focuses on creating interconnected onboard spaces, incorporating generous amounts of glass to offer unobstructed exterior views and abundant natural light to enhance the tranquil interior ambiance.
Vesper’s layout and seamless connection between its decks aim to transform the yacht into a sophisticated architectural residence rather than a typical 65-meter superyacht. This transformation begins with the accommodation arrangement, featuring five equally sized cabins on the lower deck and an additional VIP cabin on the upper deck. The owner’s suite, spanning two levels, includes a his-and-hers en suite, a wardrobe, and a spacious open-concept lounge with an adjoining study. Guests will also enjoy a private balcony accessible through pantograph doors, leading to an infinity-edged spa pool, a rock water wall, and an outdoor lounge area.
This design philosophy aligns with the concept’s emphasis on promoting wellness, both physical and mental. Unconventionally, the sauna and steam room will be situated on the sundeck, offering panoramic views through oversized glass windows. The sundeck also houses a substantial wellness area, which can be configured as a gym, a day galley, or a juice bar. Forward on the sundeck, a private sundeck area features an infinity-edge spa pool and ample space for sunbathing.
Instead of a traditional mirrored layout, the main deck will be divided into multiple welcoming zones, fostering a relaxed atmosphere that allows guests to gather or enjoy privacy while remaining in the same space. This concept extends to the beach club, which boasts an oversized infinity-edge pool and is separated by a glass wall with a pool bar, connecting swimmers to guests in the beach club.
Vesper also takes into account the technology preferences of younger yacht buyers, incorporating features like human-centric lighting, where large panels and domes emit self-adjusting light to mimic natural outdoor lighting conditions. The yacht will feature a multi-story light column to provide interior decks with natural sunlight from the upper deck.
Additionally, Vesper will offer provisions for various water toys and accommodate two tenders: a seven-plus-meter tender in the beach area for guests and a six-meter SOLAS-approved tender recessed under the foredeck. There is also an option to place two additional tenders on top of the bow.
Vesper represents an exciting collaboration between Golden Yachts and Phathom Studio, with Phathom Studio having gained recognition for its work on Gulf Craft’s Majesty 111.
